Weekend Reading Material // No. 11

No. 11 // July 26-27, 2014

+ Everyone needs itsy-bitsy, teeny-tiny, mini-mini chocolate chip cookies in their life.

+ A fashion blogger calls people {and herself} out on how different real life is compared to your Instagram account. And, really, her short list of examples is right. on. point. It's hilarious.

+ An infographic of every outfit every Disney princess ever wore... wait. Okay, almost every Disney princess; they're missing a few.

+ While this article was written specifically about Ivy League schools, it really does apply to all big name universities around the country, UCLA included. It's a longread, but it's a good one.

+ There are many reasons I read blogs, but one of the biggest is that blogging is about shared experiences. Following along with someone's daily life, you start to feel as if you "know" this person, like you're friends, and when something heartbreaking happens in their life, your heart breaks with them. This blog post and this one are just two of the intense, hit-you-hard-in-the-feels posts I've read recently that made me tear up and smile at the same time. They're worth sharing.

Argh, end of July, why you arrive so fast. I don't think we have anything planned this weekend, except to try to stay as cool as possible in this ninety-plus degree heat. Poor Zoe has to deal with her thick fur coat in addition to the warmth, so there will be lots of ice water and fans for her! Hope you have a lovely weekend, dears!
