enjoying the comfortable weather we've got right now.

dreaming of prepping for Amazing Race-- not sure I'd ever actually try out or, more importantly, who I would try out WITH, but at least if I pretend that I'd really audition, then I'll have to be super prepared to tackle a bunch of basic life skills {aka driving O.o}.

seeing a lot more of Janelle lately and it's great!

watching a bunch of movies on my To Watch list via the library. Thanks, Library.

anticipating Scorpion's return... and its first season just ended this past Monday. :P

thinking I need to make the most of the time before school starts up again.

A Bit of Life // The Joy

+ the joy that is text-venting to a friend about life-- and being sent a picture of a winking cat in reply. Okay, life's officially better now. Thank God for friends who know how fickle your mood swings can be.

+ the joy that is shampooing your hair after getting a fifteen inch haircut. Amazing.

+ the joy that is getting a seat on Bart so you don't have to brace yourself while standing during your forty minute commute.

+ the joy that is a new TSwift music video that makes you laugh AND has excellent costumes.

+ the joy that is starting a non-fiction book that you think you might actually finish all the way to the end.

+ the joy that is watching an adorable movie that's so good, you'd be willing to just go right back in and watch it again.

+ the joy that is faux-flirting with your bestie and having her new boyyyfraaannn {aka one of your other besties} cut in with "Oy. No winking!" Ha.

+ the joy that is knowing you'll be super productive tonight because your powers of concentration are downright ridiculous when you've been riled.

+ the joy that is writing out thoughts and hitting that "Publish" button.

+ the joy that is changing out of real-people-pants as soon as you get home.

+ the joy that is a happy, waggy dog, excited to see you.

+ the joy that is knowing one of your high school besties arrived at her new house after a cross-country road trip safe and sound.

+ the joy that is an internet browser with only one tab open.

+ the joy that is alphabetizing and making a list of all your books because, so help you, at least ONE thing in your life will be organized and neat.

+ the joy that is breathing deeply and letting all those little annoyances go. Or at least trying to... (:

Snapshot // Autumn Changes

starting a new internship.

going into the city twice a week all by myself.

walking five long blocks to and from the office each time.

enjoying the tech start up atmosphere.

listening to excerpts of TSwift's latest album via Google Play.

wondering how long it will take until the full album is on Rdio.

reveling in yet another Giants' World Series win. YES.

getting watery eyes from how happy and awesome it was.

adjusting to the feeling of being busy once more. I'm out of practice.

munching on all the baked goods I've made recently.

wishing one of the high school besties wasn't leaving forever for Missouri in four days.

remembering how amazing comfortable friendships are.

wrapping my mind around the fact that she's getting married early next year. Whaaat.

thinking of inviting myself over to Cindy's house to meet baby Zachary and bring her ice cream.

working on the weekend.

playing with the Zoe Fuzzbutt and probably getting in her personal bubble much too often.

staring at my room and thinking, "Hmm. I should clean that."

figuring out how #stephtommystephensam4ever will work now that two of them be datin'. Hm.

making to do lists. All day, errday.

noticing the trees are starting to turn color.

breathing in the fresh rain smell.

feeling a little unsettled by all the change happening.

deciding it will all figure itself out and...

reminding myself to breathe.

Snapshot // LA Road Trip

loving everything about this impromptu adventure.

driving four and a half hours from NorCal to SoCal. Yes, that's fast. No, I wasn't the driver.

allowing myself to stop thinking about job-hunting and app-finishing for a full four days.

listening to One Direction & TSwift while helping pack up an apartment.

meeting all the baby freshies who think I'm ancient.

wandering my beloved campus and soaking it all in.

getting no tan, despite wearing a tanktop and shorts to bike-ride on the beach. ):

thinking this needs to happen more than once a year.

eating warm beignets in the middle of Downtown Disney, right before closing time.

drinking homemade watermelon mint mojitos at the best friend's house.

hearing the laughter of friends in response to a bajillion inside jokes.

wondering why I didn't try harder to stay down here last year.

playing video games for the first time in my life. And losing like mad. (:

talking until 4am about all the things.

making triple berry muffins in a friend's apartment kitchen.

doing dishes as a thank you for letting me sleep over.

smelling the night air come in the open window as I fall asleep on the couch.

wanting everyone to be in the same place again, instead of 300+ miles away.

wishing I could try senior year all over again.

enjoying the camaraderie and comfort of excellent friendships.

wearing jeans in ninety degree weather and getting weird looks for it.

noticing all the new buildings on campus and on the hill.

focusing on the "right now" and not worrying about taking pictures.

feeling loved.

being happy.
